Products

Product Description
Petroleum Product
Petroleum products are materials derived from crude oil (petroleum) as it is processed in oil refineries. Unlike petrochemicals, which are a collection of well-defined usually pure chemical compounds, petroleum products are complex mixtures. The majority of petroleum is converted to petroleum products, which includes several classes of fuels. According to the composition of the crude oil and depending on the demands of the market, refineries can produce different shares of petroleum products. The largest share of oil products is used as "energy carriers", i.e. various grades of fuel oil and gasoline. These fuels include or can be blended to give gasoline, jet fuel, diesel fuel, heating oil, and heavier fuel oils. Heavier (less volatile) fractions can also be used to produce asphalt, tar, paraffin wax, lubricating and other heavy oils. Refineries also produce other chemicals, some of which are used in chemical processes to produce plastics and other useful materials. Since petroleum often contains a few percent sulfur-containing molecules, elemental sulfur is also often produced as a petroleum product. Carbon, in the form of petroleum coke, and hydrogen may also be produced as petroleum products. The hydrogen produced is often used as an intermediate product for other oil refinery processes such as hydrocracking and hydrodesulfurization.
  •  Motor Oil for petrol & Diesel engines
Most diesel engine oils carry a higher specification rating than petrol engine oils and vehicle manufacturers often specify a diesel engine oil be used in a petrol motor. This does not work in the reverse, petrol only engine oils cannot be used in diesels. Some engine oils carry both petrol and diesel specifications.
Octane Booster for petrol
Petrol Octane Booster is an environmentally-friendly additive to increase the octane rating by 3-8 points for low-grade or insufficient fuel quality. It prevents engine noise such as ringing, banging or retarded engine ignition.
Different Solvents and Thinners
A paint thinner is a solvent used to thin oil-based paints or clean up after their use. Commercially, solvents labeled "Paint Thinner" are usually mineral spirits having a flash point at about 40 °C (104 °F), the same as some popular brands of charcoal starter.
Common solvents used as paint thinners include:
Mineral spirits (US) / White spirit (UK)
Acetone
Turpentine
Naphtha
Toluene
Methyl ethyl ketone (MEK)
Dimethylformamide (DMF)
Butoxyethanol, or any of the other glycol ethers
MGO
MGO (Marine gas oil) - roughly equivalent to No. 2 fuel oil, made from distillate only. MDO (Marine diesel oil) - A blend of heavy gasoil that may contain very small amounts of black refinery feed stocks, but has a low viscosity up to 12 cSt so it need not be heated for use in internal combustion engines
Biodiesel and Biochemical
Biodiesel refers to a vegetable oil- or animal fat-based diesel fuel consisting of long-chain alkyl(methyl, ethyl, or propyl) esters. Biodiesel is typically made by chemically reacting lipids (e.g., vegetable oil, soybean oil,[1] animal fat (tallow[2][3])) with an alcohol producing fatty acid esters. Biodiesel is meant to be used in standard diesel engines and is thus distinct from the vegetable and waste oils used to fuel converted diesel engines. Biodiesel can be used alone, or blended with petrodiesel in any proportions.[1] Biodiesel blends can also be used as heating oil.
Gasoil
One of the most actively traded oil products, gasoil is the underlying in a key International Petroleum Exchange (IPE) futures contract. a hydrocarbon oil used as a fuel oil especially a petroleum distillate intermediate in boiling range and viscosity between kerosene and lubricating oil.
Petrol
petrol (British English) or gas (American English) is a colorless petroleum-derived flammable liquid that is used primarily as a fuel in spark-ignitedinternal combustion engines. It consists mostly of organic compounds obtained by the fractional distillation of petroleum, enhanced with a variety of additives. On average, a 42-U.S.-gallon (160-liter) barrel of crude oil yields about 19 U.S. gallons (72 liters) of gasoline after processing in an oil refinery, though this varies based on the crude oil assay. The characteristic of a particular gasoline blend to resist igniting too early (which causes knocking and reduces efficiency in reciprocating engines) is measured by its octane rating. Gasoline is produced in several grades of octane rating.
Kerosene
Kerosene, also known as paraffin, lamp oil, and coal oil (an obsolete term), is a combustible hydrocarbon liquid which is derived from petroleum
Bitumen 60-70
Bitumen penetration grade 60/70 means the penetration value is in the range 60 to 70 at standard test conditions which commonly used as a Paving Grade. Bitumen is applicable for the production of hot mix asphalt for bases and pavements and for road construction.
Environment- friendly products
Sustainable products are those products that provide environmental, social and economic benefits while protecting public health and environment over their whole life cycle, from the extraction of raw materials until the final disposal.
